Link Building
There are
two types of links that can help your PR, these are called
Reciprocal links and backward links.
A reciprocal link is one that you obtain in exchange for another. In other words you ask webmasters to link to your site, and in return you will link to theirs.
Reciprocal links can help your PR in two ways.
- The SE's see nice, keyworded links coming into your site from relevant sites already been indexed by search engines.
- You link to appropriate, relevant sites too.
If these links are not carried out using the right process you may not benefit from its full potential. Remember who you link to can cost you what PR or listings you achieve.
Another term sometimes used for Reciprocal links are relevant
or contextual links, and these are far more valuable than
say backward links. Yes I know you maybe somewhat confused
now, but that's why we are here. Its pretty simple if you
think of links like relations every link you pick to become
a contextual link, has to be related to your sites content.
Our link building strategies have succeeded all expectations where Page ranking is concerned. If a link building campaign is done badly this can result in all kinds of problems from being grey bared by Google, to in severe cases even court proceedings. We have carried out massive amounts of research into link building campaigns over the years in order to see how much potential there actually is, with our knowledge and your expertise in your industry we can get you the desired out come from the internet and your website. Remember the sole purpose of all this is to get your site around the net and to make things easier for the bots.
Backward links work in a similar way to reciprocal links, the best backward links again are directly related to your industry. I wont go into more detail about the backward links but if anyone does have questions please feel free to contact a member of staff. McIntosh Communications are here to help in any way we can.
